Wisconsin State Flower: Wood Violet
The Violet was selected as the State flower of Wisconsin by a vote of school children in 1908. The violet remained an unofficial representative of the state until 1948, when it was discovered that the violet had never been officially designated. Wisconsin Legislature officially adopted the wood violet as the stat flower on June 4, 1949.

Wisconsin State Flag
Originally adopted in 1863 during the Civil War, legislature essentially adopted a design that was already in use by the Wisconsin regimental troops. In 1913 Wisconsin officially adopted this as the State Flag. In 1979 they added the state name and date they were admitted to the union.

Wisconsin State Bird: Robin
In 1926 and 1927, Wisconsin Federated Women's Clubs, conducted a statewide survey of the state's school children to determine a state bird. The robin won, receiving twice as many votes as any other bird. The robin wasn't adopted as the official state bird however until June 4, 1949.

Wisconsin State Seal
Wisconsin has had several different seals dating back to it's time as a territory. The current Great Seal began taking shape in 1851.

Wisconsin State Fish: Muskellunge
Approved in 1955, the Muskellunge is the state fish of Wisconsin.

Wisconsin State Quarter
Released on October 25, 2004, the Wisconsin quarter depicts an agricultural theme featuring a cow, a round of cheese and an ear of corn. The design also bears an inscription of the State motto, "Forward."
